HOW DID IT ALL BEGIN?
"On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable."
1 Corinthians 12:22
Mike and Helen Royal opened their home to parents and church leaders that had a heart for those with special needs. Their focus was on prayer. They met once a month and prayed God would move in the hearts of churches and church leaders to reach out and include those with disabilities. Sherry Alexander was informed about the meeting and attended due to the fact that this was heavy on her heart. Her daughter Sarah was having a tough time with church. The church didn't know how to help. Through contacting CLC Network they provided a strategy. She became aware that there was a vast majority of families that struggle with the same situation. After meeting at the Royal's home God placed it on their heart to start Lowcountry Special Needs Network.
